The latest Patch Release, Patch Level 5, for SAP Business One 8.81, has brought with it some nice enhancements to the solution. These include a new relationship map, enhancements to the payment wizard and new window switching functionality.

The Relationship Map is a new visualisation tool which allows users to see the relationship between business objects at a glance. With the map you can double click on any document to drill down in to the document itself. There are several different views which include the document tree, posting details and related items.

The document tree displays all documents related to the original document, the posting details shows the journal entries for the selected base document and the related items shows all the items that were involved in the transaction. Invoices within the displayed documents appear in red when money is due.

A number of enhancements have been made to the payment wizard. The cash discount due date is now shown in the payment wizard, you can view all possible cash discount dates and percents available for an invoice, and the balance due and due date in the non included transactions on the recommendation report of the payment wizard.

With the new window switching functionality you now have the possibility to change the focus on minimised screens and to open it by pressing enter when you have more than one Business One form opened.
