Misconceptions

I’ve been actively posting information, videos and blog posts in some SME (small to medium enterprises) groups on LinkedIn around SAP Business One, the new functionality and customer testimonial videos that have been produced.

I wasn’t really expecting my posts to raise any negative comments but seemingly the myths around SAP for SMEs are still very much apparent, most notably in Australia (merely based on the fact that the issues with SAP were raised by business people living there!)

Common issues raised were the complicated nature, cost and hassle associated with SAP solutions. They clearly didn’t know much about nor have they had any experiences with SAP Business One!

SAP themselves have made extensive efforts to spread the word and change the perceptions of SMEs about SAP solutions. Rather than going through the facts and figures (though I will mention a few) below are the clear, concise, interesting videos that SAP have produced to provide you with a little more insight in to SAP for SMEs.

And just a few facts...

  • Over 30,000 small to midsize businesses worldwide use SAP Business One.
  • 60 new companies select SAP Business One every week.
  • More than 79% of SAP customers are small to medium sized businesses.

It can be implemented quickly, it’s affordable and having been built to meet the needs of SMEs, it’s uncomplicated, easy to use and maintain and designed to allow you to make cost savings, whilst supporting profitable business growth.

With clear visibility, instant access to complete information and integration of end to end processes, SAP Business One puts your business in the optimum position to stay ahead of the competition.

On reviewing a few of the LinkedIn Groups I’m a member of I did come across an interesting poll…

Still is the case that people don’t always necessarily share they’re positive comments about solutions and experiences quite so proactively as perhaps they do when they have more adverse and cynical thoughts to put forward.
