Mark Rijke

Mark Rijke, Sales Director UK & IRL, began his career in ERP with Compaq as part of their Enterprise Support Service to the BaaN ERP partner network when he moved from his Dutch homeland to Ireland in 2000.

In 2002 Mark moved on from Compaq to join SAP in the start-up team of Global Support for SAP Business One.
Quickly progressing to first Support team manager for Nordics, Benelux & US, and on to Global Project coordinator, he was tasked with the roll-out of the SAP Business One Support desks in the US, Eastern Europe, and Asia.

From SAP he moved on to Ergo, a Dublin based IT & Software solutions provider, where he accepted a role as a SAP Business One implementation consultant. He quickly progressed to take on the role of Project team manager, first in the area of SAP Business One and later to include the wider area of bespoke software development. He concluded his career with Ergo as Business Development Manager for SME software solutions.

Mark became part of the IIS team in 2008 following Morgan’s acquisition and took on the role of Sales manager for Ireland. Mark’s role in the company is to acquire new business for the company, as well as manage the existing clients under his care. Additionally, he manages further elements of the sales function such as marketing.

Despite moving to in to sales, Mark still retains his original background by taking a consultative sales approach. A perfectionist at heart, he consistently tries to outdo himself yet remains humble, characteristics which also supported him in acquiring his black belt!
