Mario Rottjers

Mario Rottjers

Mario Röttjers, Sales Director for the Benelux region and heading the Netherlands based operation started his working career at the age of 18 becoming a FORTRAN programmer for financial software. A career switch at age 25 brought him to the market of International Service and Support organisations and in the timeframe from 1987 to 1995 he assisted many well- known companies like NCR, Siemens, Swiss Bank and ASML in setting up and developing as well as implementing the associated software to manage their European service and support organisations.

Mario set up his first business in 1995, distributing helpdesk and call center software to the European market. In 1998 the company expanded with the European distributorship for a US based ERP product called Visual Manufacturing. In 2001 the company was split up and the separate activities were sold to the management of the departments.

As a result of an interim consultancy assignment Mario started a new organization in 2003 which focused on the sale and implementation of SAP Business One. This company, Orbrix, developed into the largest SAP Business One partner in the Dutch market through a mixture of organic growth and acquisitions. Eventually it was sold by its shareholders in early 2010.

The combination of SAP Business One platform with Intelligent Essentials, developed exclusively by IIS and the international focus of the IIS management team provided an opportunity for him to help companies in the Dutch market to become better businesses.

From his technical and service oriented background Mario is committed to make the Dutch IIS organisation the SAP Business One partner of choice for many SME organisations and provide his customers with true value.

Mario is married and has 3 sons. His home counts at least twice as many computers as family members and that is excluding all the game consoles!
